Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) established in the pursuit of profession, business, and opportunities by the Nepali diaspora residing in various countries around the world have successfully managed to maintain fraternal relations, focusing on the protection of the rights and interests of Nepalis among themselves, while also aiming to reintegrate the knowledge and resources they’ve acquired back into Nepal. I believe that the establishment of NRNA followed by its National Coordination Councils (NCC) with their plans executed in alignment with their objectives will instill a sense of ownership and belonging, fostering faith and trust among Non-Resident Nepalese living worldwide.
NRNA Japan since its establishment has played an essential role in connecting Nepal with the international community of Japan, and its activities like awareness programs, health camps, blood donation, interaction programs, mediating for students’ scholarship, etc. have contributed to uplift the overall quality of life of Nepalese residing in Japan. Moreover, NRNA Japan has held a significant role in maintaining healthy relationship in between several national and international organizations working for Nepalese in both Nepal and Japan, ensuring enduring collaborations. These efforts have helped foster trustworthy relationships among Nepali residents in Japan, turning them into close allies and friends.
Nepalese are one of the highest populated immigrants in Japan however, they are facing several challenges while living in one of the fastest growing cities of the world due to their low health literacy, language barriers, long and stressful work environment, etc. NRNA NCC Japan, hence is motivated to ensure the health, finance and safety of each and every Nepalese citizens or people with Nepali origin and committed to our mission of uniting every Nepalese for the betterment of our community in this foreign land. One of the major characteristics of our organization is its diversity. Our core team is composed of a wide range of people with different experiences and backgrounds; their skills and abilities to deal with several issues of immigrant population and their expertise in social service has enhanced the effectiveness of our tenure. Hence, during our tenurial we are committed to work for the welfare of Nepalese residing in Japan and also to expand the horizon of NRNA Japan by establishing several networks with the national and international agencies within and across Japan.
